The Best in Beauty From the Boot, Vol. 9: A Face of the Day with Giorgio Armani Beauty - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Let's practice something a little dissimilar today, shall nosotros?
I've only e'er tried 2 products from the Giorgio Armani Beauty range, which is definitely non enough to write 1 of my usual brand spotlight posts. Those two products are so good, though, that I feel like I tin can't not somehow tell you lot about them.
I'm talking about the Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in 400 The Reddish and the Giorgio Armani Optics To Impale Intense Eyeshadow in 5 Gilded Blitz. They've been around for years at present, merely if you lot've never tried them before, here's what you've been missing out on.
Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in 400 The Scarlet ($38)
I think the Giorgio Armani Lip Maestros were the first lipsticks in liquid form I'd ever heard of, but they couldn't be any more unlike from the moisture-sucking liquid lipsticks we're so used to seeing these days.
The Lip Maestros are then creamy, and comfy, and lush…
Applying shade 400 The Red on my lips feels similar coating them in the softest velvet pall, if that makes any sense… It really makes me understand what a 'velvet finish' truly is. Likewise, its corporeality of sheen and point of ruby are just right.
Honestly, gurl, I retrieve this lipstick is pure perfection.
Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eyeshadow in 5 Gold Blitz ($35)
Speaking of pure perfection…
Aside from the hefty toll tag, there's nothing less than perfect about the Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eyeshadow in 5 Gold Blitz. It is the creamiest, nigh pigmented, easiest to alloy eyeshadow I've ever tried.
Its gorgeous metallic finish makes your lids await like they're coated in gold foil – a look they keep for hours, and hours, and hours…
For today's face I've practical 05 Gold Blitz on my mobile lids with my finger and blended it out by the crease with a MAC 217 Blending Brush. Then I've practical it along my lower lashlines with a MAC 219 Pencil Brush and diffused the edge with ZOEVA's 231 Luxe Petit Crease castor.
Other products used for this await include:
- Primer — Givenchy Mister Radiant
- Foundation and concealers — Diego Dalla Palma ii West.W. Mattifying Foundation in 42 Avorio Caldo, Laura Mercier Undercover Cover-up in SC-3, and Sisley Phyto Cernes Eclat Center Concealer in two
- Highlighter — Revlon Photoready Skinlights in 100 Bare Light
- Finishing powder — Hourglass Ambient Lighting Pulverisation in Dim Light
- Bronzer — Chanel Les Beiges Salubrious Glow Sheer Pulverization SPF xv in fifty
- Eyeliner — Essence Gel Eye Pencil Waterproof in 06 Cocoa Brown
- Mascara — PUPA Vamp! in 100 Extra Blackness
- Brows — NABLA Brow Divine in Uranus
This is the makeup I would wear if I were a spy and needed to obtain classified data from the enemy using my womanly wiles… I obviously have no idea of how intelligence agencies piece of work other than what I've seen in the movies, LOL!
But yeah, that should at least make you understand how this await makes me feel…
That is, dangerously beautiful.
Or maybe beautifully dangerous… 😉
Anyways, more realistically, I'd probably wear this makeup to a embankment party, paired with a white summery apparel and a sunkissed complexion. I remember it would be a fresh, modern mode to wear such a classic shade of red lipstick.
Hmmmm, thinking about it, this concluding scenario is not any more realistic than the previous i, really… I'grand not exactly the biggest partygoer these days, nam sayin'?
Oh well, I'll just clothing information technology to become come across the next big spy film!
Do you have whatsoever makeup products that make yous feel dangerously cute (or beautifully dangerous)? I'm all ears! Can never accept too many of those… right? 😉
